The first line of defense against pavement deterioration is hot rubber crack filling. Properly sealing cracks prevents the damaging effects of water and water penetration to the asphalt base. Maintaining a regular program of crack sealing can prevent cracks from getting out of control and escalating your maintenance costs.
At East Coat, we adhere to strict quality standards when performing crack filling operations.
Our process is:
1. Clean cracks
2. Remove all vegetation and loose debris
3. Air blow cracks and surrounding areas
4. Fill and seal cracks with premium commercial grade hot rubber
5. Topcoat rubber with a mineral aggregate to promote adhesion
